Sterk onderschat
Deze game kocht ik samen met Knights Contract, waarbij bij mij de nadruk op Knights Contract lag. Deze was erbij gekozen omdat de Mix & Match aanbieding mij enorm aansprak. Omdat ik dacht dat deze game wat minder zou zijn, ben ik hiermee begonnen. En wat een verrassing! Ik wist al dat Andy Serkis (Lord Of The Rings - Gollum, King Kong) de stemacteur van Monkey was, maar dat de graphics en speelstijl ook van hoge standaard was, dat wist ik niet. De game is een adventure, jij speelt Monkey een soort van bruut die meer spieren dan hersens lijkt te hebben. Ik zal niet inhoudelijk op de game ingaan, maar de verhaallijn is lekker vlot, de samenwerking met Trip is geniaal gevonden. De dialogen zijn geweldig, de actie is goed in beeld gebracht en de manier waarop Monkey door een semi open wereld kan rondspringen en klauteren is voor anderen wellicht een gelijkenis naar bijvoorbeeld Assassin's Creed (zelf niet gespeeld, dus weet ik daar niets van), maar ik vond het een verrassing. Knights Contract heb ik even gespeeld maar gauw weer neergelegd om verder te kunnen met Enslaved! Super game Super acteurs Super graphics Geweldige game! Zeker aanschaffen. En voor de prijs bij Zavvi hoef je het niet eens te laten!
