Never thought I was gonna say this about a DC animation ... but this Batman movie is an acquired taste. If you go in as a huge Batman fan ... this one is probably not your jam. You will need to suspend disbelieve with every animation movie, but Batman Ninja takes that to another level. If you go in as an anime fan and take an awareness of every phantomable anime trope with you ... prepare to have your mind blown ... cause you seriously can’t make any of this sh*t up. But since your into anime you’ll probably just go with the flow and it will be easier to get into the way the “plot” unfolds. The one reason you need to see this movie atleast once ... is the artwork. The artwork is simply exquisite.
Ten eerste is de kwaliteit van de animatie zeer hoog. Er is echt op alle details gelet: landschappen, kostuums, enz. Ten tweede, het is zeer verfrissend om een Batman verhaal in dergelijke setting te bekijken. Zeker de moeite waard!
