HIROSHIMA MON AMOUR won the prestigious Prix FIPRESCI and received an Academy Award® nomination for novelist Marguerite Dura’s screenplay. Jean-Luc Godard had high praise for the film’s originality, describing its inventiveness as “the first film without any cinematic references”.
