Following on from the successful Veho MIMI Qube wireless speaker the X1 utilises 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Lithium polymer rechargeable batteries and transmitting dongles for PC and Mac for a completely wire-free listening experience.
The X1 Speaker has a 35 metre range and the ability to pair as many of the speakers with a single transmitter as you like so that you can have different speakers from the range throughout the whole house, garden, office or even restaurant.
The internal rechargeable battery allows up to 8 hours wireless playback and coupled with the 3.5mm line in can be used in conjunction with your iPhone/iPod/MP3 player when you are on your travels.
The X series speakers' transmitting dongles that ship with the system utilise their own 2.4 GHz wireless frequency to create their own wireless network. This means there is no requirement for existing routers or WiFi network. It’s as simple as plug and play!
Utilise the free Apple Remote App or Spotify App for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad and you can control your music from most smartphones without the need for any dongles. The Apple Remote App is a free, fun, and easy-to-use app that turns your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch into a remote control. So wherever you are in your house, you can control your computer’s iTunes library with a tap or flick of a finger.
Combine this with your MIMI USB dongle and you are able to wirelessly control your wireless speaker system. The same principle applies for Spotify Apps or any other App that can remotely control your music services.
