In Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, gamers will play as Mickey Mouse and for the first time ever, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first cartoon star, in an all-new adventure of creativity and discovery. Created by industry luminary Warren Spector and Disney Interactive’s Junction Point game development studio, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two returns the franchise to the Wii™ system from Nintendo, as well as expanding it to new HD consoles including the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.
Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions. But for the first time, Mickey and Oswald will join forces as true partners – Mickey with his magical paint brush that wields paint and thinner, and Oswald with his powerful remote control that allows him to command electricity. This new co-op play combined with enhanced in-game physics will further enhance the idea that “PlayStyle Matters” – a unique approach to gameplay pioneered by Warren Spector where players dynamically tackle different challenges in order to explore all possibilities and storylines, but with consequences for their chosen actions.

leuke kidsgame
Epic mickey is een prima game waar mijn jongste 2 ( 6 en 8 jaar) zich al dagen mee vermaken. Disney sfeer zoals het moet met de echte stemmen!, let wel op, de game is engels gesproken met ondertitels . Mijn kinderen hebben hier overigens totaal geen last van.

Epic Mickey.....niet epic, wel verdraaid leuk
Jaren geleden kwamen de eerste screens van deel 1 op het net. En dat zag er fantastisch uit! Het uiteindelijke product voldeed, qua stijl, helaas niet aan de eerder gewekte verwachtingen. Jammer, want die screens waren lekker donker, dit leek een game voor meer hardcore gamers te worden, maar uiteindelijk was het erg familievriendelijk.....daar zal de Wii als platform ook mee te maken hebben gehad. Toch moet de game daardoor niet ovrrgeslagen worden, want het is zeker een leuke game geworfen. En dan deel 2. Stijl van de eerste wordt voortgezet, logisch. Dit keer koos ik voor de Ps3 versie en ja, dat heeft dan met het grafische deel te maken. Betere graphics maar geen motion control, iets dat voor deze game toch wel erg geschikt was, maar niet noodzakelijk. De game is weer dikke platform-pret in 3D, geschikt voor het hele gezin. Ik speel hem dan ook met de jongste van 8....met ja, want je kunt co-op spelen. De een besuurt Mickey, de ander Oswald. En je hebt elkaar nodig om verder te komen, leuk gedaan. Ik houd van het toon-wereldje, de Disney touch....die er ook weer niet dik in zit, maar eerder als laagje omdat je herkenbare figuren ziet/speelt. Maar verder is het dus standaard Disney en dat maakt het net even anders, voor mij leuker.
