Quantum Theory kent veel overeenkomsten met de grote Gears of War serie. Het schieten, rollen, close combat en zoeken naar een cover is typisch voor laatsgenoemde game en de gasten van Tecmo hebben hetzelfde mechanisme gebruikt. Wat je meteen zal opvallen als je de game speelt, is dat de graphics er niet mooi uitzien. Ze hadden zeker een beter resultaat kunnen leveren als ze wat meer tijd besteed hadden om de game te ``polijsten´´. Vooraf was ik sceptisch over deze game omdat ik van een aantal sites enorme kritiek had gezien, maar ik heb me toch best wel kunnen vermaken. Deze game heeft ook multiplayer, maar daar zul je niet gemakkelijk tegenstanders vinden.
