In Copenhagen, Detective Jan Michelson is desperately trying to keep the case of a missing girl open, and when she digs into the police archives she finds a similar case dating back ten years. Teaming up with expert profiler Louse Bergstein, a much more complicated investigation reveals itself as more and more seemingly related cases come to light.
