Whilst on a ski holiday in the French Alps, a family are suddenly hit by what looks to be a deadly avalanche and the father-and-husband makes a cowardly run for it, abandoning his wife and two children. However, when it turns out to be a false alarm he has to slink back and face the people he is meant to love and the judgements they will form of him.
