The Devil's Backbone tells the tale of a group of young children at an orphanage who become cruelly terrorised by Santi, an evil spirit that stalks the building and the people in it. The children at first are extremely terrified by Santi but soon discover the truth behind Santi's death and vow revenge on the murderer.
