The Moth opens in 1913 as talented carpenter Robert Bradley leaves the Jarrow shipyards for a job in his uncle's furniture business. Life in the country is not always as idyllic as he had imagined. He is frequently at odds with his God-fearing Uncle John and then there's cousin Carrie, a teenage timebomb just waiting to explode.
