Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a cop from the year 2077 finds herself trapped in present day Vancouver, searching for convicted terrorists from the future, known as Liber8. In Season 2 Kiera continues her uneasy alliance with her partner, Vancouver Police detective Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster) and grapples with the big question that closed the first season - why was she sent here? Meanwhile Alec struggles to understand the implications of a mysterious message sent from his future self and Liber8 become more strategic and even more lethal.
