Aliens: Colonial Marines is gemiddeld met uitschieters naar goed. Grafisch gezien doet deze game geen bijzondere dingen, maar zo nu en dan weet het echt die Alien sfeer neer te zetten en dat is echt super. Het spel zit verder vol met dingen voor echte Alien fans; het verhaal, de omgevingen, dialogen etc. De AI is na de laatste update een stuk verbeterd en op de hoogste moeilijkheidsgraad zit er wel een redelijke uitdaging in (afhankelijk van hoeveel ervaring je hebt met 1st person shooters). De singleplayer is verrassend lang en er zijn veel collectibles om te vinden zoals nieuwe wapens en audiologs. Ook leuk is het ervaringssysteem dat gebruik maakt van allerlei challenges om in level omhoog te gaan, dus aardig wat replay value. Co-op is leuk en kan zowel offline als online met 2 tot 4 spelers. In de multiplayer kun je spelen als colonial marine of als een van de aliens. Met name de toevoeging van de aliens aan de multiplayer maakt deze het spelen waard. Kortom, voor Alien en scifi-shooter fans is deze game zeker het proberen waard!
Voor een zachte prijs, een redelijke game. Is wel een aanrader voor mensen die van de Alien filmreeks houden.
Deze game is zo slecht gemaakt Sega zou zich de ogen uit de kop moeten schamen, heb de verpakking niet eens opgemaakt en deze direct weer terug geretourneerd!!!
