Watching this movie is wondering why it has this title. It is more a conflict of mother and daughter about tradition and freedom to choose. In the end they come closer to each other, but for this the mother has to endure a dangerous transformation. This transformation is not original for Disney, so could they have not chosen some thing else? You may compare this to another Disney movie and miss the most of the story. Maybe not the best Pixar, but very entertaining. Great sceneries, the Celtic music and Scottish accents add charm to the story.
