From the acclaimed comedy writers of The Good Life, Bob Esmonde and John Larbey, Series Five commences with the collapse of Jacko's business 'Splosh' and his return to a whole new Bainbridge's. Lionel has passed away leaving the firm to his wife Veronica, who oversees the crew reunited as Jacko rejoins Sandra and Eric on the job.
Their old friend Elmo has returned from Australia a wealthy man of vision, several visions really, one of which is the opening of Elmo Putney's Wine Bar. Veronica's spoiled daughter Lesley - finding herself between jobs and boyfriends - starts work there as the unhappy hostess to ever glare at a customer.
Series Six sees Veronica in love and about to sell the family business. But where will that leave Jacko and friends? All will be revealed in these final 14 episodes of Brush Strokes.
