This series helps to take some of the heat out of race relations by showing the funny side of everyday conflict.
This popular British sitcom started in 1972 and in this the first series, Joan and Eddie Booth (Kate Williams and Jack Smethurst) get a shock when they meet their new neighbours, Barbie and Bill Reynolds (Nina Baden-Semper and Rudolph Walker – Eastenders). We then follow the hilarious attempts by Eddie to get one over on his new neighbours such as at the Saturday night dance down at the work’s social club when he tries to proves he is as good at limbo as everyone else.
This DVD contains all 7 episodes of series 1 plus the pilot episode that has never been broadcast
