A female polar bear named "Binne" is on the prowl for seals in this seemingly pristine frozen icescape after sparsely eating during the winter months. This spring however, is strangely warm the first time in years that seals are nowhere to be found on the west coast of Svalbard. For this year, Binne finally finds all the fat she’ll need - but what will happen next spring?
Lions
The beautiful, lush Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is home to the highest density of large carnivores in Africa. Planet Carnivore: Lions takes you deep inside this isolated volcanic crater to meet the crater’s oldest lioness as she struggles to reign over her kingdom, despite fierce competition from other ravenous carnivores. A pride’s young lioness and their best hunter is missing. Days later, she is found dying from a virus. As proof of the timeless war between lions and hyenas, within hours, the savannah’s other apex predators move in and soon there is nothing left of the big cat.

Planet Carnivore: Sharks delves into the cold-water hunting ground of one of the ocean's ultimate predators: the great white shark. In South Africa's False Bay mornings are action-packed and bloody when Haai, a huge, female great white shark, hunts for cape fur seals. Despite her superb senses and incredible weaponry, Haai is now so big that she can't manoeuvre as well as she used to. Meanwhile, the entire neighbourhood is about to be hit with a mighty blow. King Bear
Alaska's wilderness includes both coastal terrain and Kodiak Island with its ragged mountain peaks and crystalline, rushing rivers and streams.
