Series two of Upstairs, Downstairs takes place in the early 1900s and concerns itself with the goings on of both family and the staff at 165 Eaton place, home of politician Richard Bellamy, wife Marjorie, wastrel son James and wayward daughter Elizabeth. The domestic staff are headed by Hudson the Butler, a conservative and proper Scot who has to contend with the 'below stairs' behaviour of the household staff, amongst them cook Mrs Bridges and maids Rose and Sarah.
This set contains all thirteen episodes of series two, taken from the best available masters. It also includes the second part of the ongoing, exclusive documentary series about the making of Upstairs Downstairs.
